Dylan is our Facilities Administrator, playing a key role in maintaining a welcoming, well-kept campus for both students and staff.

“I come from a building industry background, where I worked in the supply of building materials and focused on helping to create safe and efficient spaces. In 2024, I joined the College as a Business Administration Apprentice within the Estates team. One of my main drivers for joining Runshaw was that I had previously been a student here and was keen to return to the College in a professional role. I wanted to play a part in maintaining a welcoming, well-kept campus for both students and staff, while also exploring a new exciting career path”.

“Runshaw has been brilliant for my professional development. I’ve been supported with excellent training opportunities and work within a really encouraging team environment that promotes learning and career progression. This has given me a clear structure and the confidence to approach my role effectively, and I’ve recently completed my apprenticeship qualification in under 18 months”.

“Definitely the sense of community and teamwork. Everyone pulls together to make sure students have the best experience and that makes the job really rewarding”.

“Working on major improvement projects across the campus has been amazing. I’m particularly looking forward to being involved in the new Windermere Science building, which will be the biggest project in the College’s history. Seeing real, visible changes take shape and knowing they benefit students and staff has been incredibly satisfying. I really enjoy getting involved with all sections across facilities, including IT, health & safety, sustainability, catering and estates”.

“It is a friendly, collaborative and supportive environment, with a strong focus on professionalism and pride in the campus. Staff and students care about the college environment, which helps create a positive culture and makes it a great place to work and learn”.

“Runshaw is a fantastic place to work with great people and plenty of opportunities to grow and make a real difference”.
