Competitive Pay
At Runshaw, we pride ourselves on offering salaries that often exceed sector averages, demonstrating our commitment to competitive compensation by regularly benchmarking against similar roles across England.
Generous Leave Entitlement
50 days for teaching staff, 35 days for management staff and up to 25 days for support staff. This entitlement includes the normal eight annual bank holidays, with an extra five days or more allocated for the Christmas closure.
Excellent Pension Scheme
All staff are enrolled in a role-specific pension scheme with generous employer contributions. Support staff join the Lancashire Pension Fund (LGPS) with a 19.6% employer contribution, while teaching staff join the Teacher’s Pension Scheme with a 28.68% employer contribution.

Teaching Holidays at Runshaw
At Runshaw College, all teaching staff enjoy 50 days of holiday, including holiday allowance , bank holidays and allocated leave for the Christmas closure. This remains in line with Sixth Form Colleges.

With over 25 years of experience as an apprenticeship provider, we proudly offer a diverse range of programmes across multiple sectors. Our strong employer partnerships span the region and beyond, with flexible delivery options both online and in person.

We offer apprenticeships positions within businesses, or we can deliver an apprenticeship to a business wanting to upskill their current workforce. Apprenticeships are an excellent way to transition from full-time education into employment, as well as a valuable opportunity for current employees to retrain or advance their skills. Apprentices gain hands-on experience, working alongside professionals to develop expertise in their chosen field.
