We are delighted to invite parents and guardians to our Welcome Evenings.
The evening will feature welcome talks from the Assistant Principals about support and opportunities available to students whilst at the college. The welcome talks will take place in the Silverdale Student Hub at the following times: 5:00pm, 5:45pm and 6:30pm. It is your choice which session you attend; booking is not required.
The events run on Wednesday 10th (Vocational & T Level) and Thursday 11th September (A Level). The evenings provide an opportunity to find out more about the study programmes and contain information about our pastoral support systems as well as general support available to students whilst they are studying at Runshaw.
Please note, due to limited capacity, this event is limited to two places per student. Students do not need to attend as they will receive the same information during Progress Mentor Group sessions.
There is also an opportunity to have a short meeting with the Progress Mentor, should you wish to discuss anything specific that you feel we should be aware of. Please click on the red booking button below to make an appointment with the Progress Mentor in advance of the event.
Progress Mentor appointments conducted in the Progress Hub will be available between 4:30pm and 7:30pm limited to 10 minutes. Subject teachers will not be in attendance; however, they do contribute to Progress Updates released to the Communication Portal at the end of each half term and participate in the Year 1 Progress Evening held later in the academic year (details of are circulated nearer the event time).
Please email us here with any queries you may have. We look forward to welcoming you!
