As we come to the end of the college term, we are proud to share some student success stories from the School of Engineering.
Today, students on our T Level Civil Engineering course have won student of the month awards to mark the start of their industry placements. Congratulations to Reece, Jack and Grace – Reece and Jack have gained work experience with DLA Architects in Manchester, and Grace will start work experience with Horizon Fletcher Rae Architects, also based in Manchester. All three have been model students since starting the course and have impressed all their tutors, each with a 98%+ attendance record on course.
Meanwhile, Year 2 T Level Civil Engineering student Joe Eccles has just been given a degree apprenticeship opportunity with BCAE Architecture and the University of Central Lancashire! Joe’s incredible dedication, hard work, and passion for architecture has been truly inspiring. Securing this amazing opportunity before even finishing his course speaks volumes about his talent and commitment. A huge thank you to Ben and Arron at BCAE Architects for their mentorship and support during Joe’s 9 week work placement, which helped him thrive and land this exciting role. We are so proud of you Joe, your future in architecture is very bright!
