At the end of February, our Supported Internship Programme was put under the spotlight as we welcomed two inspectors for a rigorous SIQAF (Supported Internship Quality Assurance Framework) review, commissioned by the Department for Education (DfE).
Over two very busy and intense days, every aspect of our programme was examined, involving all key stakeholders including Progress Housing Group Staff, Runshaw Staff, DFN Project SEARCH, our current interns and their parents, graduate interns and their parents, employers, and Lancashire County Council.

The SIQAF review assessed our internship provision across six key areas: Leadership, Planning, Partnership, Preparedness, Progress, and Results/Outcomes. The outcome reflects the dedication, hard work, and collaboration of everyone involved in delivering high-quality experiences for our interns, preparing them with the skills and confidence to transition successfully into employment.
We are absolutely thrilled to announce that our Supported Internship Programme achieved a score of 116 out of 117. This result places us among the highest-scoring programmes in the country – if not the very highest!
