Congratulations to our Law School’s Bar Mock Team, who won their virtual heats to be crowned the Regional Champions.
The Bar Mock Trial Competition provides insight into the justice system and allows for students aged 15-18 from all over the UK to build their confidence and increase their understanding and interest in the law. Students take on the roles of barristers, witnesses, clerks, ushers and jury members.
The students have been working extremely hard this term preparing their opening and closing speeches, learning their witness roles and order of procedure in court. It was a great opportunity for the students to work together and present a case in front of real judges and experience the atmosphere of a real court. Their dedication to the competition has paid off! Well done to all our students on this amazing achievement.
