We are bursting with pride this week as not one, not two, but three alumni members of the Professional Performance Programme are either currently performing in or announcing West End roles!
Evan Fox Harrison – from our Musical Theatre Class of 2020 – is set to make his West End debut by joining ‘Just For One Day’, the musical about Live Aid which opens at the Shaftesbury Theatre in May and is also playing in Toronto for 2 months from next week.
Meg Dixon – from our Musical Theatre Class of 2019 – is continuing for another year as a Super Swing in the West End production of ‘Six The Musical’ at the Vaudeville Theatre, covering all six Queens.
Evie Hargreaves – from our Acting Class of 2019 – is currently starring in ‘The Merchant Of Venice 1936’ at the Trafalgar Theatre before heading out on a UK tour with the production.
On top of this, Shannon Lavelle – from our Acting Class of 2016 – recently starred in the television drama ‘The Hardacres’ and is currently filming on the new Sally Wainwright drama ‘Riot Women’ for the BBC. Shannon recently came in to visit and talk to our current crop of actors about life at drama school and working in the industry.
Sarah Martin, Course Leader for Level 3 PPP added, “We are so happy when we hear about our talented former students achieving what they set out to do and appearing in professional productions.”
The Professional Performance Programme at Runshaw takes the very best young performers in the North West and helps them to improve and develop their skills before they progress to drama school or university. Click below for more information and to apply for September.
