Information about your New Student Day

Year 11 pupils, we can’t wait to meet you! If you haven’t booked do not worry! Simply come along on one of the days in the morning between 9.30 and 9.45am and we will sort your timetable and everything you will need for the day.

Below is everything you need to know for Monday 6th, Tuesday 7th and Wednesday 8th July 2026.

Getting here

You can get to Runshaw by using one of our many bus services or by yourself. If you are getting a lift by car, our address is Leyland Campus, Langdale Road, PR25 3DQ. Please arrive for 9.30 and drop off on Campus in Car Park A, please do not drop off on Langdale Road. Our Schools Liaison Team will meet you at the entrance. If you are getting here by bus, we have a special transport timetable for the day which you can download below. Simply wait at your stop at the time stated and wave down the bus driver on arrival to your stop. Buses will arrive @ Runshaw between 9.30-9.45. If you are arriving by train, the nearest station to Runshaw is Leyland Train Station. From there, it’s a 30 minute walk to the college.

Welcome

You will be given a very warm welcome in our student entrance before 10am where you will also be given your pack and timetable for the day, including a lunch voucher. You will be taken to your first lesson at 10am and your Runshaw Story will begin!

Goodbyes

If you are getting picked up by car, please use the pick up bays in Car Park B. Please arrive between 3.30-3.40. If you arrived by bus, our buses will be waiting for you to take you back home and will leave college at 4pm. Please see which bus you’ll be getting with our bus guide available here or above.
