Ben Owen, a former British Intelligence Officer and internationally recognised expert in surveillance and covert operations, recently visited Runshaw to talk to our Cyber Security students.
Ben shared stories about his career, as well as insights into the world of Cyber Security, with practical case studies and some excellent career advice. He has over 20 years of experience in the field, including covert operations and high-stakes leadership. Audiences worldwide know Ben as ‘The Boss’ on Channel 4’s BAFTA-nominated show ‘Hunted’. His work on Hunted has taken him to Australia and America, solidifying his reputation as an expert in intelligence and manhunts. His journey began at just 19, serving as a sniper in the British military during Gulf War II, where he developed resilience and skills in handling high-pressure environments and complex security challenges.
