Our Year 1 Criminology students have been working with Edge Hill University to produce academic posters which were put on display at the university to be viewed by staff and students.
Our students had to pitch an idea for a poster, research the topic in detail and create the posters themselves, supported by Runshaw Criminology tutors and mentors from the Edge Hill University Criminology department.
Our students then hosted a ‘mini-conference’ in one of Edge Hill’s atriums, as university staff and students viewed the posters and asked questions. The staff at Edge Hill were blown away by the talent on show – our students were professional, knowledgeable and brilliant ambassadors for the college – who all later received certificates from Edge Hill recognising their achievements. Well done to all our students!
