Our Functional Skills course is designed for adults who want practical skills that make everyday life and work easier. You will develop skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening. A Level 2 Functional Skills English qualification is recognised as an equivalent to a GCSE Grade 4 (C).

There are 3 study options, daytime class, evening class or online. The course lasts 17 academic weeks and classes are once a week, plus extra study in your own time.

Unlock opportunities with stronger maths skills. Whether it’s for work, study, or personal growth, this course opens doors in 17 weeks. You will develop practical maths skills which can be used in everyday life including:

• Calculating with positive and negative.
• Fractions, percentages and ratio.
• Measuring shape and space.
• Statistics and presenting data.

A Level 2 Functional Skills maths qualification is recognised as an equivalent to a GCSE.

The course is delivered in the classroom weekly either during the day or in the evening. We also offer an online class which includes independent learning at home, 1:1 or small groups sessions over teams.
