This week we have been celebrating some of the fantastic achievements of our apprentices for National Apprenticeship Week 2025.
National Apprenticeship Week 2025 is the 18th annual week-long celebration of apprenticeships. Our Employer Relationships Team were on hand to fire up this year’s campaign!

The week brought together businesses and apprentices from across the country to shine a light on the positive impact that apprenticeships make to individuals, businesses and the wider economy. We have been proud to support the event once again.

Our Careers Team showcased some of the career opportunities available through an apprenticeship. They welcomed partners from the police and Manchester Met University. On Tuesday, some of our partner employers visited Runshaw for a Mentor Training Seminar. It was for anyone who supports an apprentice in the workplace.

On Wednesday, our Apprenticeship Learning Mentor Patricia hosted a training session for some of Runshaw’s current apprentices. She showcased skills and best practices to take back to the workplace.

Throughout the week, our team has been out and about visiting our partners. We heard from both our apprentices and employers that apprentices are hugely beneficial in the workplace. On Thursday, we congratulated our own teams by thanking them for all the hard work they do day in and day out, including our wonderful Apprenticeships and Reception Team.

On Friday, our apprentices visited Runshaw for a Personal Development day. This included talks on Active Citizenship, charity work, careers and wellbeing in the workplace. It was great to hear how much everyone values the fantastic learning opportunities that being an apprentice offers and what a life changing experience it can be.

We also caught up with three of Runshaw’s very own apprentices – Joe, Rachel and Bailey. Hear how an apprenticeship has helped launch their careers by watching the video below. As we come to the end of another successful campaign and celebration, we would like to wish all our apprentices continued success for the future.
