Today we’ve been celebrating T Level Thursday as part of National Apprenticeship Week 2024.
Earlier today, our Engineering department brought over 100 of our T Level Engineering students together, from Design Engineering Year 1 and 2 and Civil Engineering Year 1 and 2. They competed in mixed groups to build a mechanical bridge, coming up with design solutions and using materials to roll out a way of getting from one side of a piece of land to another.
Our T Level Business students have also been learning all about Project Simulation with Anwyl Homes. The session covered the housing and building industry to support our students with their Employer Set Project – each project is developed together with employers in the industry to reflect realistic types of developments, activities and challenges. Thank you to Shaun Sumner for delivering the session!
T Levels are an exciting alternative to A Levels as they offer a work focused experience which combines academic study of the highest quality with practical industry related skills. In addition, T Levels include a mandatory placement of 315 hours minimum, typically completed across 45 days, that has been built into the course to further develop individual skills.
Runshaw currently offers the below T Level courses – click below to enquire today and apply for September 2024.
