Last week our T Level Year One Design Engineering students visited BAE in Samlesbury.
Our students visited the ASK centre (Academy for Skills & Knowledge) at BAE, where our hosts Eleanor and Lauren presented an Apprenticeship overview and explained the process. They also got the chance to view the hangar and workshop, along with a personal tour around the site.
Not only that, the day consisted of career workshops and our students visited the VR cave and had a go at working on an airbus and spoke to current apprentices and past Runshaw students. Our students had a fantastic time and all thoroughly enjoyed the trip.
