Our T Level student Alexandra Rose Redfern was awarded the ‘Highly Commended Rising Star’ Award at the Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Health and Social Care Apprenticeship Awards 2024.

This annual event recognises the outstanding contribution and achievements our exceptional Apprentices and T Level students from across Lancashire and South Cumbria have made over the last year.

Taking place at the fabulous Winter Gardens in Blackpool on Friday 28th June, the Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Health and Social Care Apprenticeship Awards 2024 celebrate the very best Apprentices currently undertaking an Apprenticeship, and still employed, within Lancashire & South Cumbria in an NHS or Social Care qualifying organisation, as well as T Level students undertaking work placements in NHS settings.

Our Head of Studies for Apprenticeships Meg Bamber presented the Runshaw College sponsored awards for Non-clinical and Highly Commended Apprentice of the year. The ‘Rising Star’ T Level category was awarded to our T Level student Alexandra Rose Redfern. All three of our T Level students and their families attended the evening, with our students introducing their T Level workplace mentors who were also in attendance.

A wonderful evening, congratulations to all our apprentices on another year of success!
