Question Time came to Runshaw today (unofficially!), as our students joined in the live debate in front of a panel of politicians and student representatives.
The Social Science department hosted their annual Question Time on Friday 10th March in the Enrichment Hall, where our students had the opportunity to quiz our local MP, Katherine Fletcher, alongside the leader of Chorley Council Alistair Bradley, leader of South Ribble Borough Council Paul Foster, and Councillor Alan Cullens – Leader of the Opposition for Chorley Borough Council, in a Question Time format. Year 2 A Level Politics student Ben Sachs did a fantastic job hosting the debate.
It wasn’t televised but the questions were just as relevant, topical and fiercely passionate as the actual programme. Thanks to the Councils for bringing Question Time to Runshaw and our students for their participation.
