Our ‘Masterchefs’ have celebrated the end of the college year by hosting a special dinner service for parents and staff.
Our Chef School students have now come to the end of their studies and to mark this occasion, Runshaw’s Blue Room played host to our Student Showcase Dinner, bringing together all their skills developed over the year into an evening for their parents.
On the menu for the evening:
Canape: Filo Pockets filled with Feta Cheese | Starter: Woodland Mushrooms | Fish Course: Pave of Salmon | Main Course: Lancashire Lamb | Dessert: Cheesecake with Rhubarb and Meringue
Foxholes restaurant closed to the public in 2019, but behind the scenes, the venue is still a hive of activity. Now renamed as The Blue Room, throughout the year our chef students work hard towards achieving their Chef Diploma using our state-of-the-art kitchens to produce amazing food for internal events, family, employers and staff.
Runshaw Chef School is dedicated to training chefs of the future and has a firm focus on preparing students for the vibrant and ever changing hotel, event and restaurant industry. On course, students receive first class training in our fully equipped industrial kitchen and experience the opportunity to create and deliver menus, serving guests attending private events all eager to sample our award winning dishes.
The Level 2 Chef Diploma also allows students to experience unique and purposeful masterclasses, trips and industry specialist presentations. Could you become the next ‘Masterchef’? Apply below to study with us this September.
