Tonight we were proud to host our Prestigious University Event in the Silverdale Student Hub.
The event was an opportunity for staff and parents to celebrate with our highest achieving Year 1 students. The evening included presentations on plans for our ‘Runshaw Scholars’, how we support applications, admissions tests and interviews in college. We were also thrilled to have Runshaw and Oxford University alumni Rosie Power, who delivered a presentation on activities she got involved in at Runshaw, as well as sharing her experience studying at Oxford. Admissions Officer Sarah Large from Mansfield College also talked to our students about Oxbridge applications – thank you both for coming!
Members of our Student Services team were also on hand, answering questions about our academies, enrichment opportunities, careers and student finance. The evening was a tremendous success and we are all incredibly proud of our students!
