Last week we were delighted to invite a variety of employers and guest speakers from different fields of Social Science.
The talks our students attended gave them real world insights, where employers were able to share their first hand experience of what the various fields of work offered them, and gave a glimpse of the practical aspects of different careers.
There was a range of talks from Counter Terrorism, Forensic Fire Investigation, Educational Psychology, Future Leaders, Social Work and Careers in Public Services. Our students have commented on how these talks have supported their readiness to progress beyond their Level 3 studies and the opportunity it gave to have queries answered directly. It has been an outstanding success and we would very much like to thank everyone who gave up their time to come into college this week to support our students.
