Congratulations to former Runshaw Chef School student Max Daglish, who came second in the finals of the Young Chef Young Waiter competition in Dubai.

Reflecting on his outstanding success, Max’s former lecturer, Jenny Cruickshanks said:Max Daglish

“It is no surprise that we hear Max Daglish has gone on to attend the finals in Dubai for the Young Chef Young Waiter competition and is also waiting to hear if he is in the semi-finals for the Gold Scholarship front of House Competition.”

Max was a key player in the AA College Restaurant of the year award that Runshaw won in 2017, attending the semi-final challenges with fellow peer Rebecca Orrell, and lecturers Fiona Merrill and Jenny Cruickshanks at Lancaster House, London.

Max is a committed young man and works exceptionally hard. He has already worked in some splendid places, Galvin at Windows London with the infamous Fred Siriex, Moor Hall Aughton and Northcote Langho.

Max has returned to Runshaw Chef School several times to talk about his career, inspiring others and demonstrating his wonderful skills in mixology.
