Our T Level Design Engineering students recently visited Forbo Flooring Systems in Bamber Bridge.
T Level Design Engineering year one students visited their first site visit of the year – Forbo Flooring Systems in Bamber Bridge. Our students were taken around the factory by Tom Anderson & Andrew Smith, both Head Engineers at Forbo Flooring. Throughout the tour our students learned about sustainable manufacture and design, maintenance, product development and investing in machinery.
They also learned about the processes used and watched the robotic machinery and hydraulic lifts manufacturing the flooring. The guided tour was extremely informative and our students thoroughly enjoyed it – a big thanks to the team for providing a warm welcome and showing our students around the site.
