Our Engineering students played a ‘game of drones’ this week as they took to the sky as part of their T Level course.
Nick Durbin – aka Mr Drone – visited college this week to talk to our T-Level Civil Engineering students about drones and the impact they are having on the Civil Engineering industry. Nick also provided a demonstration of a drone in flight. Students were invited to take the controls and fly the drone themselves. You’ll be pleased to know, both students and drone remained intact! We would like to thank Nick for coming in to show our students the art of drone flying.
Our T Level Civil Engineering course offers students vocational skills including construction project management, maths, quantity surveying, structural design and can help students into skilled employment, higher study or apprenticeships. Each T Level includes an in-depth industry placement that lasts at least 45 days. Students get valuable experience in the workplace; employers get early sight of the new talent in their industry. View our course below and apply now to study with us this September.
