    Apprenticeships (16+)

    A Business Administration Apprenticeship will give you the knowledge, experience and essential skills required to enable the smooth day-to-day running of a business or organisation. You will learn and be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks, such as record and document production, emails and answering phone calls. These duties will require you to work as both an individual or as part of a team. You will engage with different parts of your chosen organisation along with internal and external customers which will help you develop a wide range of valuable skills such as IT proficiency, communication, initiative and problem solving.

This course is particularly suitable for those students who are studying the following A Level subjects; Psychology, Economics, Business Studies, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Computer Science, and are not planning on doing A Level Maths alongside.     Counselling Skills involve the ability to actively listen to another person to hear and understand what they are trying to say, from their point of view. This portfolio-based course is designed for those who want to learn listening and counselling skills to help others, either in a voluntary or employed capacity, or those who want to find out more about the counselling field. Please note that this course does not qualify you to be a counsellor.

    Adults (19+)

    This part-time qualification gives learners the knowledge, skills and competencies to work as a therapeutic counsellor in an agency context. It is designed to lead to an employed or voluntary role in a counselling agency in both health care and non-medical settings. Learners with sufficient post qualification experience can also begin working as independent practitioners in private practice. The course is delivered one day a week over two years.

    The role of a Customer Service Practitioner is to deliver high quality products and services to the customers of their organisation. Your core responsibility will be to provide a high quality service to customers which will be delivered from the workplace or digitally. These may be one-off or routine contacts and include dealing with orders, payments, offering advice, guidance and support, meet-and-greet, sales, fixing problems, after care, service recovery or gaining insight through measuring customer satisfaction.
