ESports BTEC Level 2 Diploma

Events & Tourism BTEC Level 1
School Leavers (16-18)On this course you will study a variety of practical topics that develop skills in many aspects such as problem solving, communication, working on your own and in a team, organisation and prioritising, researching, relating to difficult situations and customer service. Students will hold their own events, allowing them to show off their unique characters whilst raising money for selected charities and progressing in skills learned on the course.
There will also be opportunities to improve English and maths skills. Researching tourist destinations in our local area will enable you to get off site and experience learning in a real life situation, then apply that experience and knowledge ready for assessment. This course prepares the young learner for progression on to many differing Level 2 courses or apprenticeships.

Physical Education A Level
School Leavers (16-18)You think it’s all over? We’ve only just started. Improve your own personal performance, as a practical performer or coach. A Level Sport and Physical Education is a two year course which will give you the opportunity to study a range of topics such as healthy and active lifestyles, analysis and evaluation of physical activity as a performer, evaluating contemporary issues within sport and optimising practical performance in competitive situations. Students who enjoy and successfully complete this subject typically progress onto a range of degree courses at university including Sports Science, Sports Studies, Leisure Management and Physiotherapy.

School Leavers (16-18)Do you like a challenge and the opportunity to build your self-esteem and confidence? Over a one year course you will develop a range of practical skills and theoretical knowledge in the areas of teamwork, communication and leadership. Many students who enjoy and successfully complete this course progress onto the L2 Public Services course.

School Leavers (16-18)Over a two year course you will be encouraged to develop the theoretical knowledge of the scientific principles that underpin sporting performance. Many students who enjoy and successfully complete this course progress onto a wide range of Higher Education sport courses. As well as studying for the BTEC Extended Diploma qualification, students will also have the opportunity to work towards sports leadership and coaching awards.
