- Overview
The course is a fantastic introduction to experience a variety of vocational studies, with activities which are interesting and fun that will assist the progression through college, or preparation for work. As well as studying a wide range of personal development and employability skills, students take part in activities that include off-site visits, residential, and working with local organisations and charities. In our safe and supporting environment, students will learn things about themselves they never knew existed!
As part of the course, students will study English and Maths to improve on their existing skills. This helps students reach their full potential in education and prepares them to work confidently and independently in life.
- Entry Requirements
Future Skills is a course designed for young people who need an extra year to find their chosen vocational career path and have studied at GCSE level.
There are no formal qualifications needed to apply for this course. Students will have an initial assessment to ensure they are studying at an appropriate level.
- Progression Pathway
Upon successful completion of the course, students may progress onto a chosen vocational course, apprenticeship or employment / supported employment.
