A Level Extended Project Qualification
Alongside your A Levels, the Extended Project Qualification will provide you with the skills which are sought after by universities and employers which will give you the edge over other applicants. By studying the qualification you will gain confidence in working independently, reading about a subject which interests you outside of your A Level studies, and in presenting your findings to others.

- Overview
What will I study?
It is entirely up to you! You can choose any topic you like, but it must go beyond the demands of the specifications of your A Level subjects. You will be given a supervisor to help shape your topic and research, but the direction your project takes will be your decision to make.
The Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) is a standalone qualification in addition to your A Levels which enables you to research a topic of your choice, create a project, and present your findings to a small group.
- Entry Requirements
Our A Level programme requires a minimum of 5 GCSE subjects at Grade 5.
- How will I be assessed?
You will complete a production log, a project, and complete a presentation.
- Progression Pathway
As a result of these skills, many universities offer our EPQ students places with lower A Level grades if they also achieve their Extended Project Qualification, making it ideal for high achievers who want to secure places at top universities.
