    Foundation Skills are courses to introduce students to college study whilst improving their basic skills. The course runs over 4 days a week. There are no formal qualifications needed to apply for these courses.

    Over a one year course you will develop a range of practical and theoretical employability skills. You will study topics such as teamwork and communication, whilst developing important study skills.

  • Level 3 Public Services (Uniformed)

    School Leavers (16-18)

    Over a two year course you will develop a range of practical skills and theoretical knowledge in the areas of law, psychology, teamwork, politics, citizenship and criminology. Many students who enjoy and successfully complete this course progress onto Higher Education or employment in the Public Service industry. The course is designed to equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge to enter a career within the uniformed Public Services.

  • Level 1 Public Services and Sport

    School Leavers (16-18)

    Do you like a challenge and the opportunity to build your self-esteem and confidence? Over a one year course you will develop a range of practical skills and theoretical knowledge in the areas of teamwork, communication and leadership. Many students who enjoy and successfully complete this course progress onto the L2 Public Services course.

  • L3 Vocational Course in Social Science

    School Leavers (16-18)

    The Level 3 Vocational Course in Social Sciences will give you an in-depth insight into three subjects: Applied Law, Applied Psychology and Criminology. This course has units that include: Health Psychology, Criminological Theories, Crime Scene to Court Room and Criminal Law. The course is put together to give students an in-depth understanding of the criminal justice system and how the mind develops. There are 6 exams in total for this course.
