Job Description
Processing of invoices and expenses
Reconciliation of accounts
Supporting the production of management accounts (including month, quarter and year end)
Utilising the internal financial systems
Progressing towards:
Drafting financial statements
Constructing and presenting management accounting reports.
Support departments with the management of their budgets
Creating, and/or verifying and reviewing, accurate and timely financial information
Personal Qualities
Communication
Positive attitude/motivation
Adaptable
Qualifications Required
GCSE English and Maths or equivalent A*-C / 9-4

AND

A pass at Level 2 AAT certificate in Accounting or a L2 accounting qualification from another awarding body or A Level Accounting at A*-C.

Or;

Highest level qual is L2 and suitable work experience, or a L3 qualification with grade A-C in at least 2 ‘A’ levels or a Merit/Distinction at BTEC Natl level in any subject.

What will the End Point Assessment (EPA) include
EPA (End Point Assessment) – Towards the final few months of the apprenticeship you will complete your End Point Assessment. This includes a synoptic end test, a portfolio and a professional discussion. All assessment methods will be conducted and graded by an independent EPAO.
