Team Runshaw proudly took part in the Leyland Festival on Saturday 14th June, joining the local community for a day of fun, fundraising, and togetherness – all in support of our college charity, MIND.
Runshaw’s stall was bursting with activity, offering something for everyone, including crowd favourites like Hook a Duck, Face Painting, Tombola, Biscuit Decorating, the Crossbar Challenge, and Name the Bear – a fantastic line-up selected by our student-led Charities Committee. The response from festival-goers was incredible, and we are delighted to share that we raised over £800 for MIND!

We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who visited our stall, took part in the games, or donated so generously. Special thank you to our eight amazing student volunteers who gave up their Saturday to support the event with energy and enthusiasm, as well as our colleagues in Create, the Print Shop, and Finance for helping make the day such a success. Thank you too to everyone who donated to our Tombola and finally to our staff volunteers; Clare Russell, Martin Rigby, Rob Jones, Andrea Neild , Vanessa Harwood, Tracey Croft, Tim Cahill, Camilla Gregory, Nikki Chappelow, Lee McFarlane and Rachel McCracken.

Team Runshaw was proud to be part of such a brilliant community event and we look forward to doing it all again next year!
