T Level students touch down at BAE in Samlesbury
Last week our Year 1 T Level Design Engineering students touched down at BAE’s Academy for Skills & Knowledge Centre in Samlesbury.
Our students met with current Degree Apprenticeship students, had a tour of BAE’s facilities and attended various workshops.
They also had presentations on the VR Cave and had the opportunity to meet staff and talk through all the options available to them when they progress from college.
The afternoon was thoroughly enjoyable and informative and we look forward to our students progressing with BAE, involving potential Industry and Virtual Placements. A big thank you to the team at BAE for their support!
Trips out are just one of the course highlights – our T Level in Design Engineering will give students skills including project management, maths mechanical science, computer aided design and can help students into skilled employment, higher study or apprenticeships. Each T Level includes an in-depth industry placement that lasts at least 45 days. More information can be found below.
