Our T Level Design Engineering students headed to Preston this week to visit ‘Break Free’ for a day of team building.
The day consisted of a series of escape rooms as part of a team building exercise for their Project Management & Professional Topics. Our students competed in four teams and completed their escape rooms successfully, one group with 14 seconds to go – and most importantly, all without arguing…

As part of the escape rooms, the teams had to work together to show resilience and to solve puzzles and problems along the way. This was a great afternoon that will support their understanding of how to work as part of a team, how to show support and the art of communication.

Our T Level in Design Engineering will give students vocational skills including project management, maths, mechanical science, and computer aided design, and can help students into skilled employment, higher study or apprenticeships. Each T Level includes an in-depth industry placement that lasts at least 45 days, giving students valuable experience in the workplace. Click below to find out more.
