Today we have celebrated success with our students as well as welcoming the next cohort of high achieving pupils from local high schools.
We are absolutely thrilled this year that an incredible 25 of our students have received offers for Medicine, Dentistry, Veterinary Science, and for places at Oxford and Cambridge universities so far! Congratulations to all of our students holding offers and thank you to everyone who has supported them in this fantastic achievement. Once again, our Class of 2024 have demonstrated why Runshaw is still top for destinations!
Year 11 pupils from across the region visited Runshaw today to attend our Scholars Evening.
Runshaw Scholars is an exciting and challenging programme of support, offering mentoring for our highest performing A Level students to encourage successful applications to the UK’s most competitive and prestigious universities. We thoroughly enjoyed showcasing how Runshaw can help students to be inspired to pursue higher education at prestigious universities including Oxford, Cambridge, Durham and Edinburgh. Special thanks to our guest speakers including Sarah Large from Oxford University and Victoria Syme Taylor our Runshaw Scholars Co-ordinator. Victoria is a former Dean of Academic Studies at King’s College London and joined Runshaw to support our high achieving students with their applications to prestigious universities.
