School Leavers attend Runshaw Scholars Event
This evening we were delighted to welcome prospective students to our Scholars Event, a special information evening which focused on applications to prestigious universities.
The annual event is designed for students aspiring to pursue higher education at prestigious universities across the country including Oxford and Cambridge. A big thank you to Sarah Large, an admissions tutor representing the University of Oxford, for visiting us to speak to our guests.
Students also heard from current Scholars about their involvement in the programme of support for our highest achieving students and the opportunities available through subject academies. Runshaw Scholars is an exciting and challenging programme of support, offering mentoring for our highest performing A Level students to encourage successful applications to the UK’s most competitive and prestigious universities. School Leavers: don’t forget, our application deadline is next Wednesday 1st April 2026! We have had a record number of applications for many courses this year and in order to ensure you have Runshaw as one of your college options, please make sure you submit your application before the deadline. Please note that we may be unable to offer you a place if you apply after this date.
