Last week our Year 2 Actors from the Professional Performance Programme took their Shakespeare adaptation on the road.
They visited 15 Partner High Schools to perform ‘Ross & Jules’ a 30-minute modern day take on Romeo & Juliet featuring a mix of original and contemporary dialogue.

The tour stretched from Longridge to Wigan and Burscough to Bolton as they criss-crossed the North West each day, clocking up over 200 miles and spreading the word about the course and the college to over 1200 pupils.

Our students demonstrated teamwork, problem-solving, resilience and a strong work ethic and the experience will serve them well on whatever path they follow next summer. Our PPP Acting course provides students with fundamental training in a range of acting styles. Students will also learn how to structure and devise performances in different theatrical genres.
