This evening our Runshaw Scholars and their parents were invited for an evening of support, including guidance on applications to prestigious universities.
We were also thrilled to welcome guest speaker Sarah Large, Admissions Officer from Oxford University. Parents and students were given advice about the range of different prestigious universities, support with applications, and how to get involved with a wide range of activities in college to support both academic and personal development. The evening ended with staff offering advice on student finance, applications and enrichment.
The evening was a tremendous success and we hope it has helped our students when they come to apply to university. Runshaw Scholars is an exciting and challenging programme of support, offering mentoring for our highest performing A Level students to encourage successful applications to the UK’s most competitive and prestigious universities.
