Prospective students attend annual Scholars Evening
Tonight prospective students were invited to a special information evening, which focused on applications to prestigious universities.
Our annual Runshaw Scholars Evening is an enlightening and inspiring occasion, specifically designed for students aspiring to pursue higher education at prestigious universities including Oxford, Cambridge, Durham and Edinburgh. As part of the evening’s programme, we were delighted to host an address from Sarah Large, who is an admissions tutor representing the University of Oxford. Students also heard from current Scholars about their involvement in the programme of support for our highest achieving students, and it was a pleasure to welcome back former Runshaw student Becca Walker who is now studying at Cambridge University. Our Head of Student Services Camilla Gregory also discussed enrichment opportunities and the options available to students on Runshaw’s Medical Society.

This unique opportunity provides invaluable insights into admissions processes, academic expectations, and life as a student at a prestigious university. It’s a chance for students to gain first-hand knowledge and guidance that can shape their journey towards achieving academic goals.
