Runshaw receives government investment for campus development
We are delighted to share news that a £1.8 million government investment for campus development will be received by Runshaw College!
We welcome the government’s recognition of the vital role that further education colleges play in supporting young people, skills development and regional growth.
Principal and CEO Clare Russell added, “At Runshaw, we have a clear and ambitious campus masterplan, underpinned by our Strategic Plan, which focuses on delivering high‑quality, inclusive and future‑ready learning environments. This funding creates further opportunities to enhance our facilities, complementing the significant work already underway for our new Science building and other planned improvements across the campus”.

Runshaw College is already delivering a major programme of estates transformation, including the Windermere development, which represents a substantial investment in high‑quality, future‑ready teaching and learning facilities. This latest funding provides additional capacity to accelerate priorities within the campus masterplan, ensuring facilities remain safe, sustainable and fit for the needs of a modern further education college.
