Olympiad and Cambridge Chemistry Challenge Success!
These two competitions involve students completing extremely challenging written exam papers. These papers require them to apply their understanding of Chemistry to real-world situations and concepts and challenges their problem-solving skills to their limits.
10 of our Year 2 A level Chemists took part in the Royal Society of Chemistry Olympiad achieving 1 gold award (top 9 % nationwide), 7 silver awards and 2 bronze 2 awards.
43 of our Year 2 A level Chemists took part in the Cambridge Chemistry Challenge achieving 1 gold award (top 9 % nationwide), 10 silver awards and 17 Copper awards.
