Question Time 2026 @ Runshaw!
Question Time returned to Runshaw today with an eagerly anticipated round of topical and political debates, with a panel of politicians and student representatives taking part in the Silverdale Hub.
The annual event was once again hosted by our School of Social Science, with students from our Politics Think Tank, Scholars and Student Council taking part on Friday 6th February. Students in the audience had the opportunity to quiz politicians, including our MP for South Ribble Paul Foster, Councillor Alistair Bradley, Councillor Matthew Tomlinson and Councillor Craige Southern.
Elias Ahmad did a fantastic job hosting the debate as our official Chair, along with student panelists Charlie Bradley and Theo Rodwell, all who are in their second year studying A Level Politics.
The debate was once again topical and fiercely passionate as the actual programme, with topics including the Labour Government, the Justice System, Keir Starmer, Lord Mandelson and UK Immigration. Question Time is always a lively, thoughtful and challenging debate, and a powerful example of Runshaw’s Think Tank students engaging critically with the issues that shape their futures.
