MedSoc students deliver key health messages
Runshaw’s Medical Society students have been busy in the planning and delivery of health promotions as part of its curriculum equipping future doctors, dentists and vets with essential skills.
Focused on the college’s personal development theme – physical, sexual, and mental health – students have been planning and delivering campaigns to educate peers and the wider community. These initiatives foster communication, teamwork, and leadership, essential for their future roles. Students delivered their promotions in the Student Hub, with some also delivering their promotion via our radio station, the Voice!

Our prestigious Medical Society is open to all students who wish to apply for Medicine, Dentistry and Veterinary Science courses (MDV). The society continues to go from strength to strength, with record numbers of students gaining places to study on these highly competitive courses year upon year. The medically orientated curriculum allows students to understand the role of these professionals and gain off-specification knowledge around these highly respected professions and invaluable work experience.
