Learning Resource Centres
The Learning Resource Centres are welcoming and supportive places for your independent study outside of class time.
The Learning Resource Centres include the Library, Study Zones and Student Zones. You can visit the Learning Resource Centres if you want to prepare for for lessons, read and research, complete homework & assignments, create CVs, print off work, develop employability skills, revise for exams or write university applications.

Study Zone skill-boosting support
The Study Zones offer every student study skill one-to-one support and group workshops. In the Study Zones we will help you with time management and organisation, writing assignments and presentation skills, research, referencing and avoiding plagiarism, revising and preparing for exam success. Our services and facilities include:

✔ Bookable teamwork rooms
✔ PCs – with advanced booking
✔ Express PCs – short log on for checking emails or printing
✔ Colour printing, photocopying and scanning
✔ Device lockers and charging points
✔ Study Equipment Loans – calculators, head phones, maths equipment
✔ Freecycle – a free stationery exchange
Student Zones
Student Zones are informal spaces where you can enjoy some food as well as study. Our main Student Hub is located in Silverdale.
