Our Level 3 Graphic Design student Joel Thompson has had his artwork selected to be featured in a charity calendar.
Joel was successful in the charity competition where his artwork ‘Lantern Night’ was selected by the judges as one of the winning pieces and will now be printed for the official St Catherine’s Hospice Charity 2025 Calendar for the month of December! His work can be viewed below.

‘Lantern Night’ was marked on creativity, composition and technical application by seven judges. Joel will be attending the awards ceremony shortly to be presented with a certificate and a printed version of the calendar featuring his artwork. A spokesperson for the charity added, “I hope Joel is pleased and very proud, his artwork will impact the hospice from the calendar sales by helping make a difference to those facing end of life care. We could not be more thankful for this!”
An amazing achievement Joel, showing hard work, effort and dedication. Well done!
