Runshaw hosts the Public Services round of the Lancashire Skills Competition 2026
Today we were thrilled to host the Public Services round of the Lancashire Skills Competition for 2026!
Taking place over the last three weeks, the competition allows students the opportunity to showcase the technical skills they have developed across different subject areas, helping them to demonstrate technical excellence, but also personal attributes such as teamwork, resilience and other employability skills.
Congratulations to our students who finished in first position and we’d like to thank all the colleges for visiting us, it was great to see you all!
Results for the Public Services round were:
1st Place – Runshaw College on 93 points

2nd Place – Blackpool 6th Form College on 71 points

3rd Place – Blackburn College on 70 points
