Our wonderful Hair & Media Make-up students gained places at the National AHT competitions for body art and make-up at the Norbrek castle in Blackpool after winning all the regional competitions in March.
Ellie Brookfield entered face painting with her model Belle Mayor.
Keira Sutch – model Olivia Sutch 2nd place for the body art competition zoo animals. Keira just got pipped at the post only by 2 points and would have won.
Heidi Mallinson – model Katherine Mangan 1st Place for 1920s authentic style make-up.
The competitions were fierce with colleges from all over the country and Ireland competing. Students had worked so hard in the months coming up to the March regionals by doing extra competition classes and perfecting their designs and to upskill.
All the staff are extremely proud of all their efforts, we have been entering these competitions for 15 years and never fail to get in the top 3 places, showing we have the best dedicated students and staff at Runshaw.
