A fully competent Quality Practitioner can work in a wide range of organisations (from multi-nationals to SMEs), including automotive, defence, food, pharmaceutical, nuclear, retail, financial services, logistics services, public sector and government.

Social Sciences Level 3
School Leavers (16-18)The Level 3 Vocational Course in Social Sciences will give you an in-depth insight into three subjects: Applied Law, Applied Psychology and Criminology. This course has units that include: Health Psychology, Criminological Theories, Crime Scene to Court Room and Criminal Law. The course is put together to give students an in-depth understanding of the criminal justice system and how the mind develops. There are 6 exams in total for this course.

Sport Extended Diploma Level 3
School Leavers (16-18)Over a two year course you will have the opportunity to develop employability skills and knowledge in the areas of fitness programming, sports coaching and sports massage. Many students who enjoy and successfully complete this course progress onto Higher Education or employment in sport. School Leavers (16-18)This is an exciting Level 2 course for Sport where students will be able to access a range of subjects linked to sports science, leadership, and coaching. As part of this one year course students could have the chance to work with local schools delivering sports activity sessions as well as accessing a week long work experience placement for the most gifted and talented.

T Level Business Management Level 3
School Leavers (16-18)Read our T Level Business Portfolio below and invest 2 years studying at Runshaw and working on placement. T Levels are a fresh and exciting alternative to A Levels as they offer a work focussed experience which combines academic study of the highest quality with practical industry related skills. In addition, T Levels include a mandatory placement of 315 hours minimum, typically completed across 45 days, that has been built into the course to further develop individual skills.

T Level Civil Engineering
School Leavers (16-18)Our T Level Civil Engineering course offers students vocational skills including construction project management, maths, quantity surveying, structural design and can help students into skilled employment, higher study or apprenticeships. Each T Level includes an in-depth industry placement that lasts at least 45 days. Students get valuable experience in the workplace; employers get early sight of the new talent in their industry. T Level students spend 80% of the course in the classroom, learning the skills that employers need. The other 20% is a meaningful industry placement, where they put these skills into action.

The course is aimed at preparing young people for work, higher level apprenticeship or higher education in the field of Health Care. At Runshaw College we are aware of the skills gap in health care and believe the T Level Health will support students in gaining the skills, knowledge and behaviours required for a career in health. The qualification is the equivalent of 3 A Levels.

Tourism Management
School Leavers (16-18)Our two-year Tourism Management course is a combination of a Level 3 NCFE Travel and Tourism Programme, an Industry work placement and bespoke cabin crew training. The travel and tourism industry is diverse and fast paced and we deliver a course which is reflective of our industry. You will study the key sectors of tourism such as cruise, events, aviation, tourist attractions and hospitality. After two years on our course you will have the skills and knowledge to progress on to university or directly into employment.

Travel, Tourism & The Visitor Economy Level 2
School Leavers (16-18)Do you enjoy eating out? Going on holiday? Visiting attractions? Travelling? Going to music festivals and events? If the answer is YES, then this is the course for you. The one year course provides an excellent insight into Tourism today and the varied elements. Units of study will be e.g. UK coastal tourism/know about airports and airlines/Customer service in travel/The UK travel and tourism industry. Practical and theoretical learning is also included.
