Your language skills are assessed in external exams at the end of Year 2. In addition to listening and reading comprehensions, you will translate unseen texts, summarise unseen texts and write one essay in your chosen language on a prescribed book and one essay in your chosen language on a prescribed film.

Your oral competence is assessed in a 20-minute unscripted speaking test.
