Braking Point: Road safety for young children
This week over 400 students attended the Braking Point session to promote safety for young drivers and their passengers.
The performance included scenes around drink driving, distractions from passengers, mobile phone usage and the importance of wearing a seatbelt. There was an interactive session where students were able to address the long-term and short-term impact of dangerous behaviours on the road.

The road safety charity Brake will be raising awareness during Road Safety Week from Sunday 17th November. This year, the charity has put road victims at the heart of their campaign as they raise awareness of the devastating toll of road crashes, and celebrate the work of the incredible people who support families after a road death or serious injury. We will also be encouraging our students to take part as part of their enrichment activities.
