    Adults (19+)

    Every counsellor starts somewhere. Learn the skills, techniques, and self-awareness needed to progress to higher-level counselling qualifications. You can choose to study this course in the day or evening, classes are once a week, and the course is academic year. Fast track options are available.

    You will develop a range of skills including:
    • Psychodynamic theory.
    • Person-Centred theory.
    • CBT.
    • Establishing boundaries.
    • Ethical framework and anti-discriminatory practice.

    Once you complete our Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills, you’ll be ready to move on to Level 3 and take your next steps toward a rewarding career in counselling, social work, or another helping profession.

  • Counselling - Level 3 Certificate in Studies

    Adults (19+)

    Are you ready to advance your training and move one step closer to a future in counselling? Deepen your understanding, strengthen your practical skills, and build the confidence you need to support others professionally.

    At Level 3 you will explore legal and ethical issues based on ethical framework for counselling and psychotherapy in a multi-cultural and diverse society. Learn about a range of counselling skills and understand which counselling skills are used professionally. Reflect on counselling theory, professional conduct, ethical issues, confidentiality, boundaries, legal responsibility, and negligence.

    On successful completion of this course, you can progress to Level 4 Therapeutic Diploma in Counselling.

  • Counselling - Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling

    Adults (19+)

    Ready to take your counselling journey to the next level? If you’ve already completed Levels 2 and 3, this is the natural next step to deepen your skills and grow into the best practitioner you can be.

    This is a 2-year course delivered in the classroom plus you will need to complete a minimum of 100 hours of formally contacted counselling with at least 5 different clients in an agency setting. You will be assed using a variety of methods, self-review to show development, weekly learning review, assignments, presentations, and an externally marked question paper.
