Are you finishing school or college this summer or are you looking for a career change?
There is no better way to start an career in accountancy then with an apprenticeship. An apprenticeship is a full time job with a qualification alongside. Qualify with AAT levels 2, 3 or 4 with Runshaw College.
We work with a large number of employers in Lancashire and the surrounding areas to recruit and train accountancy apprentices, register your interest today.
The job role may include:
Preparation and analysis of year end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and small limited companies.
Assisting audit teams on audit assignments.
Bookkeeping and assistance with preparation of management accounts.
VAT returns
Tax returns for businesses and individuals.
Administration, organising files, photocopying etc.*Depending on the employer hours per week can range from 35-40

Good communication skills - Qualifications Required
Level 2 – 4 x GCSE A*-C / 9-4 including English and Maths or equivalent.
Level 3 – 4 x GCSE A*-D / 9-3 which must include GCSE English and maths at A*-C / 9-4 or equivalent. AND A pass at Level 2 AAT certificate in Accounting or a L2 accounting qualification from another awarding body or A Level Accounting at A*-C.
Level 4 – 5 x GCSE’s A*-C / 9-4 which must include GCSE English and Maths at A*-C/ 9-4 or equivalent & an AAT L3 or equivalent level accounting qualification.

- What will the End Point Assessment (EPA) include
This includes a structured interview (supported by a portfolio of evidence summary) and an exam. Both assessment methods will be conducted and graded by an independent EPAO.
