- Job Description
Childcare and Learning
• Support the planning and delivery of engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS
• Help create a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment
• Observe, monitor and record children’s development and progress
• Support children’s personal care routines, including toileting, feeding and hygiene
• Promote positive behaviour and support children with emotional and social development
Health, Safety and Safeguarding
• Maintain a safe and secure environment at all times
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and child protection procedures
• Support risk assessments and daily safety checks
• Help promote good hygiene practices and healthy lifestyles
Working With Others
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and carers
• Work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions from senior staff
• Communicate clearly with colleagues and escalate concerns appropriately
• Contribute to staff meetings, training and supervision sessions - Personal Qualities
Genuine interest in supporting young children’s learning and development
Caring, patient and enthusiastic - Qualifications Required
GCSE English and maths at A*-C / 9-4 or equivalent.

- What will the End Point Assessment (EPA) include
EPA (End Point Assessment) – Towards the final few months of the apprenticeship you will complete your End Point Assessment. This includes a professional discussion underpinned by portfolio. A knowledge test. All assessment methods will be conducted and graded by an independent EPAO.
